“I See Mean People?”

April 26, 2009

Message found scrawled in sidewalk chalk on our front step this morning:

(Mean Cat-Mean People-Poisonous Yard)

Suburban graffiti? No. It was left by our own 7-year old hoodlum, Ava.

In her defense, she was having a rough day.

Not only did she get grounded from TV, computer and video games for two whole days due to her selective listening disorder (you know, the one where you simply can’t hear anything your parents are saying), but she also can’t play in the yard because we just fertilized the grass.

What does it all mean? (other than my pride in her near-perfect spelling)

I’m enjoying all of this Super stuff.

Very impressive that a 1st grader can spell poisonous.
