One Down

March 15, 2010

Yesterday was my husband’s 38th birthday. And once again we left town for the weekend and headed south to Durango. We did this last year as part birthday celebration and part BeingSuper blog launch.

This time however, instead of planning, planning, planning, I got to reminisce a bit as well.  I re-read some of my favorite posts (and comments) from the past year. And while I’m proud of the personal progress I’ve made and the small, but loyal readership I’ve built, mostly I just love writing.

I want to thank you all for hanging with me this past year.  I’m still blown away every time someone says to me, “I read your blog.”  Really? You read it?

There are some exciting things happening as I begin year two.  We will welcome a new baby to our family, as well as escort our oldest child (kicking and screaming?) into official adulthood.  Not to mention all the other nutty stuff that comes along with our blended family.  What can I say?  We are crazy up in here.

Keep reading, won’t you?

On behalf of your loyal family-actors’ guild, we are demanding equal pay for our inspirational contributions. It’s only fair. We also would like a disclaimer written into each post. One of those Law and Ordery “Although inspired in part by a true incident, the following story is fictional and does not depict any actual person or event” kind of things. And dad and monkey want more cookies.

Oh and we found the hidden Teddy bear cams. Nice try. And, thank you for being so Super, it would be bad and horrible of you to stop now. Here’s to year two!

    Another loyal reader here.

I have to post this here since I can’t comment on the “baby poll”.

You know it has to be a boy, because Ava could not tolerate another princess in the house. 😎

John, you are so right. What will she do if she’s no longer the diva?

You could possibly have your own version of Jersey Shore. 😮
